Veterans Memorial

The City of Amboy, Community Club, and Amboy Lions have been working together for a Veterans Memorial Park. It will be north of the putting green. You can see a projected picture of it on the Amboy website slideshow (above)
Les Curry has compiled a list of Amboy residents that have served in the Civil War through current military service. If you were in the military during war time or peace time and would like your name on the memorial the cost is $55.00. The Memorial Stone will cost approximately $23,000.00; to help pay for this stone, the Lions Club is accepting donations. Having your name on the memorial and private donations will help the funding of the Memorial Stone. Checks should be made out to the Lions Club and mailed to PO Box 332, Amboy, MN 56010
